National Social Assistance Programmes (NSAP)

The National Social Assistance Programmes (NSAP) came into effect on the 15th August 1995. It is a social assistance programme targeted at the poorest sections of the population and is implemented by the Panchayats and the NACs/Municipalities. The following two components of the Programmes are being administered by the W&CD Department.
