Govt. of India has launched the scheme during February -2009. Persons with severe or multiple disability in the age group of 18-64 years and belonging to a house hold below the poverty line will be eligible to get pension @ of Rs, 200/- per month .1,25,361 beneficiaries have been distributed to the districts.

Supplementary provision of Rs,700.00 lakhs was made for implementation of the scheme during -2009-10.
